One of the few things that keeps the spirit up in the danish camp is a visit to Kuffen - the danish YMCA cafe. Here one can chill out, have a cup of coffe or te, read a magazine, play a card game or have one of the famous cakes.
Of the cakes, non is more liked than the Dream cake and so here is the recipie which I got fro mthe two KUFF girls Selma & Judit, translated into English.

Drømmekage fra Bastion
(Den klassiske drømmekage,
med lokalt navn)
1 big deep cake pan:
500 g / 17,6
Ounce flour
100 g / 3,5 Ounce of melted margarine
600 g / 21 Ounce sugar
6 eggs
6 tsp. Baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla Sugar
4 cups milk

glaze:
250g / 8,8 Ounce margarine
200 g / 7 Ounce of coconut / oatmeal
500 g / 17,6 Ounce brown sugar (half can be replaced by plain. Sugar)
1 cup milk
Mix eggs and sugar and other ingredients together. Pour into a baking pan and bake 25 min at 200 degrees Celsius.
The glaze is made by melting margarine and sugar in a pan and stirring in the rest of the ingrediences in a pan and spread on the cake when it is baked.
